Chapter 22

And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming forth from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

In the midst of the city street, on both sides of the river, was the tree of life, bearing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit according to each month, and the leaves for the healing of the nations. The Throne of God and of the Lamb

And there shall be no more any accursed thing; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve him.

And they shall see his face and his name shall be on their foreheads.

And night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of light of lamp, or light of sun, for the Lord God will shed light upon them; and they shall reign forever and ever. Confirmation

And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show to his servants what must shortly come to pass.

And behold, I come quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

And I, John, am he who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

And he said to me, "Thou must not do that. I am a fellow-servant of thine and of thy brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" Words of Christ

And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.

He who does wrong, let him do wrong still; and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he who is just, let him be just still; and he who is holy, let him be hallowed still.

Behold, I come quickly! And my reward is with me, to render to each one according to his works.

I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end! "

Blessed are they who wash their robes that they may enter into the city.

Outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practises falsehood. Final Attestation

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things concerning the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star."

And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come; and he who wishes, let him receive the water of life freely.

I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If anyone shall add to them, God will add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

And if anyone shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his portion from the tree of life, and from the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.

He who testifies to these things says, "It is true, I come quickly!" Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all. Amen.
