Notwithstanding great persecutions the Church prospereth. 10. Especially in the new testament, by Apostolical function, 18. ministry of Angels, Christ's Ascension, coming of the Holy Ghost, 31. confirming the faithful, repressing the insolent, and converting many. 35. For all which the prophet inviteth all men to praise God.

1 Unto the end, in hymns, a Psalm of Canticle to David.
2 God have mercy upon us, and bless us: illuminate his countenance upon us, and have mercy on us.
3 That we may know thy way upon earth: in all nations thy salvation.
4 Let peoples, o God, confess to thee: let all peoples confess to thee.
5 Let nations be glad & rejoice: because thou judgest peoples in equity, and the nations in earth thou doest direct.
6 Let peoples, o God, confess to thee, let all peoples confess to thee:
7 the earth hath yielded her fruit. God, our God bless us,
8 God bless us: and let all the ends of the earth fear him.
