The Psalmist earnestly prayeth God to give him leave, & to shew him where to build a Temple. But more especially prayeth for, and prophesieth the coming of Christ, the promised Son of David: 14. signifying God's promise thereof, and of establishing his Church.

1 Agradual Canticle of David. Lord my heart is not exalted: neither are mine eyes lofty. Neither have I walked in great matters: nor in marvelous things above me.
2 If I was not humbly minded: but exalted my soul: As the weaned child is toward his mother, so retribution in my soul.
3 Let Israel hope in our Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.
